As an openly gay Jew from Sydney Australia, I understand the importance of having a safe and supportive space to explore identity, belonging and growth in a non-judgemental space. My personal experience has shaped my approach to therapy, where I strive to create a warm, inclusive space for clients facing specific needs.
My approach is integrative, drawing primarily from psychodynamic therapy, with influences derived from many theories, but some being person centered, relational, and feminist theory. Together, we will explore how past experiences, emotions and relationships shape your present, helping you gain insight and make meaningful change. I am particularly interested in working with individuals and couples across the lifespan experiencing anxiety and depression, LGBTQIA+ mental health concerns and those seeking sex therapy.
I am currently completing my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness at New York University while pursuing an advanced certification in LGBTQ+ Health, Education, and Social Services. I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from American University. Outside of work, I spend my free time writing music, singing, being in nature and spending time with friends exploring the city.
