Nick Kusner, MHC—LP
Nick is a therapist who takes a relational, person-centered approach rooted in mindfulness, compassion, and humility. He works to create a space where clients feel deeply seen and understood, and where they can explore their stories with openness and curiosity.
Nick is passionate about supporting queer and neurodivergent individuals, as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, work stress, grief, and life transitions. His years in arts, nature, and nonprofit administration shape his perspective, giving him an appreciation for creativity, connection, and the complexities of work and life.
He earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University and his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The Ohio State University. Outside the therapy room, Nick enjoys traveling, hiking, and birding, and finds that time in nature can be grounding and restorative. He also loves genealogy, art, and music.
